Equine Assisted Therapy

The Power of Immediate, Non-Judgmental Feedback

A dynamic, experiential approach that uses the unique sensitivity of horses to build self-awareness and regulation.

About ThisService

Equine Assisted Therapy is a core component of the Stable & Grounded methodology. It moves beyond traditional office-based sessions by placing you in an active environment where your internal state is reflected back to you in real-time. Horses are highly sensitive to human energy, body language, and intent; they provide a physical mirror to your presence, boundaries, and emotional state.

Our approach focuses on:

  • Real-Time Bio-Feedback: Utilizing the horse’s response to understand how your internal nervous system state impacts your external environment.
  • Boundary Development: Learning how to establish and maintain healthy personal and professional boundaries through physical interaction.
  • Presence and Grounding: Developing the ability to stay present and focused, even when faced with unpredictable or challenging situations.
  • Emotional Regulation: Practicing the transition from a state of stress or anxiety to a state of calm and connection through immediate experiential feedback.

Who This Is For

  • Individuals in High-Pressure Roles: Professionals and leaders who need to refine their impact, improve their non-verbal communication, and manage high-stakes stress.
  • Those Feeling Stuck in Talk-Based Therapy: People who find that understanding their problems intellectually hasn't led to a change in how they feel or behave.
  • NDIS Participants: Individuals seeking to build capacity in social participation, emotional self-management, and executive functioning through engaging, active sessions.
  • The Change-Ready: Anyone looking for a tangible, memorable way to experience their own growth and build confidence in their ability to regulate their state.

How We Help

Objective Observation:

Because horses do not have an agenda, their feedback is entirely objective, allowing you to see your patterns without the filter of human judgment.

Physiological Rewiring:

By practicing regulation in the presence of a horse, you are training your nervous system to return to a grounded state more efficiently.

Building Functional Confidence:

Success in equine sessions translates directly to real-world confidence in social, workplace, and personal settings.

Active Engagement:

These sessions are particularly effective for those who struggle with traditional clinical settings, offering a professional yet natural environment for growth.

Safety is our primary priority. All sessions are facilitated by experienced professionals who ensure a safe environment for both the human and the horse.
The horse acts as an adjunct tool that enhances the therapeutic process. We use the interaction to highlight behaviors, emotional blocks, and strengths, which we then process and integrate into your personal goals.
